"Seek the Lord thy God, and thou shalt find Him, if thou seek Him with all thy heart and with all thy soul." Deuteronomy 4:29

This is one of my favorite verses because it reveals the great beauty of God’s extended hand to humanity. As the law of gravity is set into motion, so God has set this law into order. Our Creator is always within our reach. A seeking heart can find Him at any place, any time. Psalms 145:18

Sure, I know I am stating the obvious, but maybe we’ve heard it so much we’ve become deaf to its reality. We were made to experience God far more than we often do. This is such a great treasure. It sets our faith apart from many because we can actually know our God intimately, instead of from a distance. Unfortunately, we rarely make enough time to ever experience that kind of walk.

God has really been reminding me that I can know Him as much as I take time to seek Him. This "seeking" goes far beyond the external, and reaches to the center of our being, our very heart. I believe there is a world of God that we have yet to discover, if we will simply chase after Him with all of our being. Please understand, I share this, not with a pointed finger, but from a convicted heart. God has been reminding me that there is more to Christianity than allowing others to do the seeking for us! We were created to hear, to know, and to feel Him. This communion is our destiny!
