I knew men and women were different in a lot of ways but I didn’t know how different until I got married. For instance, men and women shower differently. When a man showers, he has two things, shampoo and a bar of soap he stole from his mom’s house last Christmas. And those two things are interchangeable anytime. If you run out of shampoo, you can use the soap. If you run out of soap, you can use the shampoo. If you run out of both, toothpaste is not a bad option.

A woman, when she showers, has 349 things she uses every morning. And they were all bought at the produce section at Wal-Mart. She starts out using apricot shampoo fortified with 62 added vitamins and minerals from the island of Fiji. Because we all know Fiji is number one in shampoo. Then she puts in papaya and mango conditioner, which has to be left on for 15 minutes for who knows what reason. Then she washes her face with a cucumber and sugar facial scrub enhanced with the feathers of a baby penguin. She washes the rest of her body with a pineapple and frappaccino body wash with chocolate sprinkles and cherry sauce. Talk about a high carb shower.

God made men and women different so we could complement each other. There are things my wife can’t do that I excel at, like opening jars. But my wife is awesome at other things that I have no clue about, like scented candles.

Even though we are different, we should all have the same the goal to glorify Jesus Christ. In Psalms 139:14, it says we are "fearfully and wonderfully made." God knew exactly what He was doing when he made you and has an amazing plan for your life. He made everyone unique with their own talents and abilities so that we can all work together in bringing people into a relationship with Him.
