You might as well put on your Blues Brothers shades while listening to this CD, because the sound is very similar. The one thing that makes Reflection of Something worthy of listening to is Todd Agnew's one-of-a-kind voice etching out our unworthiness to be called a child of God living in a filthy world, yet His acceptance and love for everyone.

Each lyric is as powerful as the next, with the music and extra vocals adding an even stronger aspect. The choir in track five reciting Isaiah 6 makes you want to bow down in worship and recall the awesome power of God.

Every song poses the problem of living in a stagnant state of mind and waking up everyday to the same routine, but in "Always There," the chorus reminds us that Jesus is always waiting for us to come back to Him. At about the 3:00 mark, the music stops and Todd desperately cries out to Jesus with a plea for forgiveness. It's an emotionally charged ending to a song that will get your mind racing on things you can change to better your walk with Christ.

"Where Were You" is a fun, upbeat song that takes the point of view of God answering some of life's "tough" questions. It reminds us that none of us have the answers, and when asking God, He'll remind us of everything He did to make the world go round.

The challenging lyrics of "My Jesus" will have you thinking about how you live your everyday life for Him. It asks us if we would even recognize Jesus in today's world - if we would pass right on by or fall to His feet in worship.

Keep the CD running and you'll soon be listening to the hidden track - a very nice rendition of "It Is Well."

Overall, this album is a very soothing listen. Only when you dive into the words will you realize how true they are, which may help you alter your life to mirror Christ more.
