![]() The debut album from eleventyseven, And the Land of Fake Believe, is full of emotion that everyone can relate to. We've all felt invincible and in love, and eleventyseven beats down those emotions to let the truth out. A love and life without God is a love and life not worth keeping around. Their first single, "More Than a Revolution," is a great, fast-paced song to lead the album off. It states that actions are more powerful than words, because most of the time, words just get in the way. Keeping with the same beat of this song, the album leads right into track two, the break-up song "A Stellar Syonara," and track three "Nostalgiatopia." "Myspace" will become their first music video, and it questions the infamous website's users intentions. "Still I'd like the chance to really see if what you say is true and has integrity, 'cause I could know everything about you and still know nothing at all." The song is based on eleventyseven's feelings on Internet relationships. The album slows down halfway through with the love song, "Here With Me." The subject hopes that she who is "more than wonderful" will stay around forever. "Teenage Heartbreak" ventures into the inevitable of life - teenage romance. It proclaims such relationships never last that long, and once the break up occurs, both victims feel that life isn't worth living. The song helps with these feelings of emptiness by stating, "God wants more for the life you lead and for everything you share. Guys and girls may break your heart but He'll always be there." The album ends on a slow note with the ballad on regrets, "Yesterday's Glues," and with the fantastic conclusion, "Reach that Far." Concluding the CD beautifully, this song refutes the previous songs on love and romance with the chorus, "Teach me how to kneel when I don't know how to feel and show me where you are when my faith can't reach that far." Fans of Stellar Kart, Relient K, and FM Static will be sure to enjoy this new band and their debut album.
