Today’s the day.

For what you ask? Well outside of the deadline for filing taxes, it is the national release date for Worth Dying For’s self-titled freshman album. Worth Dying For takes a new direction to worship that might not be your grandparents' (or parents') cup of tea. Rock infused rifts, screaming vocals, and never-backing-down lyrics capture this generation’s passion for music and God in a revolutionary way. They are hailed by many reviews to be one of the biggest up in coming bands seen in a long time.

From the start of “Revolution”, the band sings (and screams), and their hearts cry what I believe holds true: “We are the sound of a revolution." Fast songs like “Let it Out” sounds like it would be more likely played at a club then a church, and “Crazy” talks about going all out to God in worship and in life. You’ll almost have to stop yourself from moving to the beat (not that you’d want to).

Even the slow songs on the CD have a faster beat and rock edge to them than your typical worship band, but the power behind the words is clear in songs like "Holy" and "Consume Me Now."

The CD can be summed up in "Infiltrate". Pastor Jeremy Johnson, wife of lead vocalist/keytar player, recites “Fellowship of the unashamed” at the beginning and the simple lines follow, “I will fight for you, I will die for you, I will go for you.”

And that’s exactly what this band is doing.
