admiral twin Admiral Twin has received the great honor of being selected in Paste Magazine’s coveted "Paste Recommends." Being a part of this program allows the three-piece from Tulsa to be featured at the Paste Recommends listening stations at 56 of the nation’s leading independent record stores. Also included in this month’s class are Bon Iver, Jon Forman, Allison Moorer, and eight others.

This month’s list can be seen at www.pastemagazine.com/recommends/ along with a list of participating stores.

"It’s a great feeling to be a part of a magazine that you’ve been reading for years," states Mike Flatt, the band’s manager. "We realize that this market is perfect for the band, and hope that Paste readers will enjoy Center of the Universe. We have high hopes for Admiral Twin, and know this promotion will be a great launching point for the album."

Admiral Twin is an alternative pop-rock trio known for their harmony-infused, three-minute rock explosions and eccentric pop experimentation. Center of the Universe is the band’s fifth release, and it’s first on the Pop Collective label.

Paste Magazine is one of the fastest growing independently published entertainment magazines in the country, recently named "Magazine of the Year" at the 2007 PLUG Independent Music Awards for the second year in a row. Providing thoughtful analysis on the best in film, books and other aspects of popular (and alternative) culture, Paste is the premier magazine for people who still enjoy discovering new music, prize substance and songcraft over fads and manufactured attitude, and appreciate quality music in whatever genre it might inhabit. Now in their sixth year, Paste has grown quickly with international distribution in over 12 countries. Paste is available on newsstands all over the U.S. and Canada.
